HILLSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP SATURDAY APRIL 24TH!!

Join the neighborhood for a clean-up on Saturday, May 14th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM in front of the Hillside Community Center on NW Culpepper. We’ll have a dumpster to dispose of unusable goods. The nonprofit Community Warehouse will be collecting small, reusable household items ( no clothes) such as kitchen utensils, linens, clocks, pots and pans, and small appliances to donate to low income families.
Donations of $5 – $10 will be requested to offset disposal costs.

When you join us at the cleanup, please note:
Don’t Bring These:
- Hazardous waste
- Commercial landscaping waste
- Commercial construction debris
- Waste not accepted at transfer stations
- Household garbage (kitchen waste)
- Appliances containing freon
- Dirt or rock
Do Bring These for Bulk Waste:
- Bagged or boxed trash
- Unusable furniture
- Mattresses/box springs
- Toys/swing sets/ misc. junk
- Un-repairable items
- (bicycles, BBQ grills, etc)
- Personal Renovation Debris
- Carpet
Do Bring These for Yard Debris:
- Grass
- Leaves
- Plant trimmings
- Tree branches
